All Good Things Come To Those Who Wait

March 4th, 2011 | Exercise

Negativity don’t come knocking at my door (do you think I live on Toxic Dump Lane?) there is no room for you at my place. Adversity – thanks, but no thanks. I wonder if we wear garlic around our necks, will it ward off vampires and unfavorable vibes? People, places and things that exude hostility are not part of my agenda. I have the pleasure of working with a person who is the epitome of positive thinking. She is a genuine person, always cheerful, never utters an unkind word about anyone. She is my role model, who also happens to be a baby boomer. She is not only authentic; she is tall, slender and lives a healthy and fit lifestyle (and I might also add she has a fabulous butt). Hey, I know what you’re thinking, but don’t women dress and get fit for other women?  I wake up grateful every day that I have the ability to take care of my body in a nurturing and positive way. I go to sleep every night thankful for what I was able to accomplish that day. Last week I had to work through some stress, and I realized that the stress came from negative feelings that I was having. I was very unproductive as far as my exercise and diet were concerned. In conclusion if I have negative-free thoughts and feelings, I will therefore be stress-free and can continue on the road to become a positive and productive person. If I’m patient fighting off negativity I will prevail. Keep healthy and fit!

Stress is a killer, and can change everything about your day, your week, your month and your attitude and outlook. Sometimes it’s hard to keep that positive feeling and outlook. I can be in a dark place one moment, and fortunately turn around quite easily. Good advice, keep the negativity away and put on a happy face!
