Keeping Up With The …….
Even at the age of 59 I like to keep current with style and fashion without looking like an idiot (if I can). Just because I am approaching 60 this year does not mean I have to become a cliché regarding my sense of style (I tend to lean towards eclectic, shabby chic, retro etc.). I have a delightful cousin who happens to fancy my little piece of heaven at the beach. He is a Baby Boomer as well, and asked me if I would like any work done at the beach house this year. I told him I would love to update the small bathroom with wainscoting. That was all I needed to say, he did research for the materials, he measured and calculated what he needed to do to realize my vision. All I did was choose the paint color for the final say, and he finished what he started out to do for me. He kept his body and mind active with a suggestion from me. Frank also does not take full credit for his masterpiece (he had the help of his son-in-law), so I’m thanking John as well.
Here are the before and after photos of his beautiful transformation of old and tired to new and spectacular. Thanks Frank, you exceeded my expectations with your skills, attention to detail and kindness. I will forever be indebted to you and will think of you every time I enter this lovely little room (whether cleaning it, showering in it or whatever). Keep healthy and fit by updating your mind and body (and style)!

For me, when I gave all my furnishings, etc, in my apartment and set out in the world with two suitcases and my backpack with camera & laptop, it was freeing. Things can be a burden. I did this at 62 and at 65 life could never be more enjoyable.

Andre, that’s wonderful for you! I felt free when I dropped my weight and started living a fit and healthy lifestyle. I would love to live near the ocean with no burdens or worries, guess I’ll have to keep on working at that, and hopefully it will happen for me as well. Thanks for your comment!
It looks great Joanie!! Good job!
Thanks to Frank and John they rock!
