Margarita Pizza

You know what my favorite sandwich is hint: tomato, fresh basil and mozzarella cheese. Well imagine placing those ingedients in the oven on a thin pizza crust for about 10 minutes; result a melted version of my favorite sandwich on my favorite food (pizza). Enough said!

Fresh tomato (sliced)

Fresh mozzarella (sliced)

Fresh basil

Olive oil

Mama Mary’s thin crust pizza

Brush crust with a little olive oil. Place tomatoes in a circular pattern on the entire crust. Place cheese on top of tomatoes. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes. Add fresh basil leaves to finished pizza, enjoy!

I estimate with the crust, tomatoes, cheese and basil it would be about 300 calories for 1/2 of the pie!
